Op deze pagina vind je alles over wat je kunt doen bij DWARS! We vertellen iets over wat we organiseren voor nieuwe leden, maar ook wat je verder kan doen bij DWARS. Lees dus vooral de hele pagina. Ben je nog geen lid? Meld je dan hier aan.
Ben je een nieuw lid?
We willen er graag voor zorgen dat jij je zo snel mogelijk thuis voelt bij DWARS! Daarom hebben we twee dingen die we altijd organiseren voor nieuwe leden en soms ook nog andere evenementen of scholingstrajecten. Let daarvoor vooral op onze nieuwsbrief of sociale media.
Nieuweledenavond
Ben je nieuw lid? Of al langer, maar weet je niet zo goed hoe je actief kunt worden? Kom dan naar de nieuweledenavond! Hier krijg je informatie over wat je kan doen bij DWARS en heb je de kans om andere nieuwe leden te ontmoeten. Houd de agenda in de gaten voor nieuwe leden avonden.
Wat kun je allemaal doen bij DWARS?
Bij DWARS zijn er veel mogelijkheden om je te ontwikkelen. Je kunt bij een commissie aan de slag met politiek-inhoudelijke dingen en je kunt je organisatorisch ontwikkelen. Er zijn ook mogelijkheden om bij jou in de buurt actief te worden. Hieronder vind je een overzicht met wat mogelijk is.
Commissies
Inhoudelijk
DWARS kent verschillende inhoudelijke commissies, die elke twee tot drie weken vergaderen. Op de vergaderingen worden inhoudelijke discussies gevoerd, maar er worden ook opiniestukken geschreven of activiteiten georganiseerd. Commissies houden zich bezig met allerlei thema’s; dus er is altijd wel een commissie die bij jou past!

Organisatorisch
DWARS heeft verschillende organisatorische commissies. Ze doen allemaal verschillende dingen voor de vereniging. In tegenstelling tot onze inhoudelijke commissies ligt de nadruk het meest bij het organiseren van evenementen, trainingen of acties. Bij twee organisatorische commissies kun je je direct aansluiten: de Scholingscommissie en de Bijzondere Activiteitencommissie.

OverDWARS
Het ledenblad OverDWARS is altijd opzoek naar mensen die het leuk vinden om te schrijven, fotograferen, graphics te maken of met andere ideeën komen.

Werkgroepen
DWARS heeft ook werkgroepen. De werkgroepen bepalen helemaal zelf wat ze doen, dus ze verschillen behoorlijk. Je kan ook zelf een werkgroep oprichten!

Vacatures
Er komen regelmatig vacatures vrij voor functies bij DWARS. Voor de meeste functies hoef je nog niet veel ervaring te hebben. We vinden het vooral fijn als je enthousiast bent en dan kunnen we je de kwaliteiten die nodig zijn voor de functie leren.

Veilige sfeer
Bij DWARS vinden we het belangrijk dat iedereen zich welkom en veilig voelt. Daarom hebben we een gedragscode opgesteld, die geldt op alle activiteiten en appgroepen van DWARS. Deze kun je lezen door hier te klikken.

Are you a new member?
We want to make sure you feel at home with DWARS as soon as possible! That is why we always have two things we organise for new members and sometimes other events or training courses. Keep an eye on our newsletter or social media for these.
New members evening
Are you a new member? Or have been for some time, but don’t know how to get active? Then come to the new members evening! Here you will get information about what you can do at DWARS and have the chance to meet other new members. Keep an eye on the agenda for new member evenings.
What can you do at DWARS?
At DWARS there are many possibilities to develop yourself. You can join a committee to work on political issues and you can develop your organisational skills. There are also possibilities to become active in your neighbourhood. Below you will find an overview of what is possible.
Committees
Content
DWARS has nine substantive committees that meet every two to three weeks. At the meetings substantive discussions are held, but they also write opinion pieces or organise activities. Committees deal with all kinds of themes, so there is always a committee that suits you!

Organisational
DWARS has 8 organisational committees. They all do different things for the association. In contrast to our substantive committees, the emphasis is mostly on organising events, training sessions or actions. You can join two organisational committees directly:the Schooling Committee and the Special Activities Committee.

OverDWARS
The OverDWARS magazine is always looking for people who like to write, take photos, make graphics or have other ideas.

Working groups
DWARS also has four working groups. The working groups decide for themselves what they do, so they are quite different. You can also start your own working group!

Vacancies
There are regularly vacancies for functions within DWARS. For most positions you do not need to have much experience. We especially like it when you are enthusiastic, then we can teach you the qualities needed for the position.

Safe atmosphere
At DWARS we think it is important that everyone feels welcome and safe. That is why we have drawn up a code of conduct that applies to all DWARS activities and app groups. You can read it by clicking here.

Newsletters
Committees
The different committees each have their own mailing list. When you want to join a committee, for example, you have been there a few times and you are planning to be there more often in the near future, you will be put on the mailing list of this committee. This is where memos are sent about, new meeting dates and things to do with activities organised by the committee.
