Wie word jij in ons nieuwe bestuur?

DWARS Utrecht gaat op de zomer-AAV van 12 juni een nieuw bestuur verkiezen! English below. 

Afdelingsbestuur doen is een leuke en leerzame manier om DWARS beter te leren kennen. Als je al weet dat je wil solliciteren kan dat hier, als je het nog niet zeker weet kan je natuurlijk altijd een bestuurslid contacteren om je vragen te stellen. Maar wie doet nou wat in een bestuur? Dat hebben wij hieronder even samengevat!

Voorzitter

• Je leidt de vergaderingen en plant ze in, en je bent verantwoordelijk voor onderlinge samenhang van het bestuur
• Je houdt contact met externe organisaties
• Je houdt contact met het landelijk bestuur via het driewekelijkse voorzittersoverleg
• Je gaat naar de bestuursvergaderingen van GroenLinks Utrecht

Secretaris

• Je houdt het ledenbestand bij en ziet dus wanneer nieuwe mensen bij de afdeling komen: die contacteer je om ze welkom te heten!
• Je notuleert de vergaderingen en zorgt daarna dat de actiepunten, afspraken en notulen zelf op de juiste plek opgeslagen worden
• Je beheert de website van DWARS Utrecht
• Je organiseert de AAV’s en bent dus ook verantwoordelijk voor het naleven van de DWARSe regels

Penningmeester

• Je beheert het geld
• Je bezit de DWARS-geldpas
• Je maakt de begroting voor het volgende jaar
• Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de boekhouding

Bestuurslid Politiek

• Je mag bij de fractievergaderingen zijn van GroenLinks gemeente en provincie: vaak geef je de voorkeur aan Utrecht stad maar Amersfoort zou ook leuk zijn
• Je houdt de politiek in de regio bij
• Je leidt de PolitiCie
• Als er iets relevants voor DWARS gebeurt neem je initiatief voor bijvoorbeeld een statement, een artikel of een tweet

Bestuurslid Campagne & Communicatie

• Jij mag de instagramposts maken op Canva
• Je communiceert naar leden over activiteiten via instagram, whatsapp en threads (en eventueel andere media, ga los)
• Je leidt de ACT!, het Activisme & Campagne Team
• In tijden van campagne ga je met de ACT aan de lokale campagne werken
• Verder ga je met de ACT en andere leden naar demonstraties en zoek je manieren om activistisch te zijn

Bestuurslid Activiteiten

• Jij bent verantwoordelijk voor de activiteiten
• Jij zoekt doorgaans de locatie van een activiteit
• Jij maakt het draaiboek voor een activiteit
• Jij leidt de Activiteitencommissie
• Jij bent hoofdverantwoordelijke voor de (veilige) sfeer

Bestuurslid Regionale Inclusie

• Als we deze portefeuille weten te vullen kan jij de politiek op provinciaal niveau overnemen van bestuurslid politiek
• Jij houdt contact met kleinere gemeentes dan Amersfoort en Utrecht
• Jij zorgt dat we niet alleen in Amersfoort en Utrecht activiteiten houden en zoekt naar nieuwe manieren om inclusief te zijn

DWARS Utrecht will elect a new board at the summer AAV on June 12! 

Serving on the departmental board is a fun and educational way to get to know DWARS better. If you already know you want to apply you can do so here, if you are not sure yet you can always contact a board member to ask your questions. But who does what in the board? We have summarized that below!

Chair

• You lead and schedule meetings, and you are responsible for internal issues of the board
• You maintain contact with external organizations
• You keep in touch with the national board through the three-weekly chairperson’s meeting
• You attend the board meetings of GroenLinks Utrecht

General secretary

• You keep the membership database up to date and see when new people join the party: you contact them to welcome them!
• You take the minutes of the meetings and make sure that the action points, agreements and minutes are saved in the right place.
• You manage the website of DWARS Utrecht
• You organize the AAV’s and are therefore also responsible for the DWARS rules

Treasurer

• You manage the money of the department
• You own the DWARS maestro card
• You make the budget for the next year
• You are responsible for bookkeeping

Board member of Politics

• You may attend the fraction meetings of GroenLinks municipality and province: often you prefer Utrecht municipality but Amersfoort would also be nice
• You keep track of politics in the region
• You lead the PolitiCie, our political committee
• If something relevant to DWARS happens, you take the initiative for a statement, an article or a tweet

Board Member of Campaign & Communication

• You get to create the instagram posts on Canva
• You communicate to members about activities via instagram, whatsapp and threads (and possibly other media, go wild)
• You lead the ACT!, the Activism & Campaign Team
• In times of campaign, you will work with the ACT on the local campaign
• Furthermore, you go to demonstrations with the ACT and other members and find ways to be activist

Board Member of Activities

• You are responsible for the activities
• You usually find the location of an activity
• You make the script for an activity
• You lead the Activities Committee
• You are mainly responsible for the (safe) atmosphere

Board member Regional Inclusion

• If we manage to fill this portfolio, you can take over from board member politics at the provincial level
• You keep contact with smaller municipalities than Amersfoort and Utrecht
• You ensure that we not only have activities in Amersfoort and Utrecht and look for new ways to be inclusive
