Successful launch of our international committee

Thanks to everyone who came along wednesday night to the launch of DWARS’ new international committee. A lively discussion followed a brief introduction of the new team. We heard a diversity of viewpoints on international and European, national and global, identities. Much food for thought resulted from a meeting of minds from Holland to Zimbabwe to Italy.

We explored whether can identities be inclusive, or are we necessarily define ourselves in opposition to the other. We discussed whether globalisation has led to shared identities in geographically far countries, and whether this trend is limited to only a certain section of society.
