Hi, we welcome you to DWARS Noord-Holland - Flevoland! Are you interested in our movement and want to see if DWARS is for you? We organise many different activities that you can easily join as a (new) member. A few times a year we also organise a specific new member night, but you really don't have to wait for that. In between, we have a lot of great activities planned! Take a look at the agenda Whether there is something you would like to be at.

All these events are free to attend, even if you are not (yet) a member!

About us

What is DWARS?

DWARS, GroenLinkse Jongeren is the independent youth organisation of GroenLinks. The national headquarters of DWARS is located at St Jacobsstraat 12 in Utrecht. The day-to-day management of DWARS is in the hands of the national board. The association aims to introduce people to politics in a fun way. We also try to influence Dutch politics through contact with GroenLinks, media reports and actions.

What is DWARS Noord-Holland - Flevoland?

DWARS Noord-Holland - Flevoland is the largest division of DWARS. It is the political youth organisation for Noord-Holland and Flevoland, representing all kinds of young people on both green and left-wing movements. Make your voice heard through our actions and campaigns, or find a new home through our various activities and meet-ups. Want to drop by and sample our atmosphere?

Just want to come and sample the atmosphere? Pick a fun activity! We organise a new members' evening a few times a year. We also have several substantive as well as fun activities you can easily join. These activities are great for getting involved in Green and Left politics in an approachable way while getting to know new DWARS members.

All these activities are free to attend, even if you are not (yet) a member!

As mentioned earlier, there are several ways you can keep up to date with everything happening in the department. Follow our Instagram–, and X-pages for announcements, which you can also find in the Whatsapp groups. In addition, you can subscribe to the newsletter, for all monthly updates, and the minutespin, in which you read along what is discussed at board meetings.

Do you want to become further active?

Then join DWARS! You can also become active at our committees (we have 5!), and maybe you'll end up on the board. More information is here find.
