Congress

This year's summer conference will take place at 31 May and 1 June in Soest.

The summer conference is the ideal opportunity to see your DWARSe friends together, listen to interesting speakers, and influence the ins and outs of the association.

Is this your first congress? For that, we have a 'How to survive a DWARS congress' booklet. In it, we explain everything to you! You can find these here.

You can buy a ticket for the conference at the webshop. (This will be possible later)

Documents

To help you prepare for the conference, several documents will be made available. Some will follow. These are the reader-friendly congress paper and a congress paper glossary.

Amendments and motions

The congress is the highest body of the association. This means that the congress decides on the most important matters of DWARS. For example, at the congress you can amendment proposals submit on the Programme of Principles, the Statutes, the Internal Regulations, the Code of Conduct and the Political Programme. It is possible to suggest additions, modifications or deletions. Want to see what these documents look like now? Then check out the documents page!

With a motion you can call on the board to do or not do something or DWARS can speak out for or against something. Check out the motion page for a list of motions tabled last congresses.

Deadlines

You have until 23 October. The deadline for amending amendments is 6 November.

The deadline for motions is 6 November. There is no deadline for topical motions.
