What is DWARS Gelderland?
DWARS Gelderland is the local branch of DWARS, GroenLinkse Youth. In 2019, we emerged from a merger of DWARS Arnhem-Nijmegen and DWARS Wageningen. Our enthusiastic board deals with the ins and outs of the department on a daily basis.

Our politics
We stand for a green, social and liberal Gelderland. Our aim is to introduce people to politics in a friendly and accessible way. We also get involved in Gelderland politics, in which we make the voice of young people heard throughout the province: through contact with GroenLinks, media reports and actions.

Activities
We complement this with fun and interesting activities. The monthly members' evening (Links Drinks) is the time to catch up with other DWARSers from Gelderland. During political theme nights, we invite political guests to talk about their work in the municipality, province or a local organisation. And there is much more, so check the agenda!

We work with...
DWARS Gelderland works with boards and groups of GroenLinks throughout the province. For instance, we are active in Arnhem, Nijmegen, Wageningen, Apeldoorn, Zutphen, and Doetinchem, among others. We also cooperate with the provincial government and the GroenLinks group in the Provincial Council. Furthermore, we work closely with DWARS and GroenLinks at the national level.

We also look outside our bubble. Together with other political youth organisations, we organise interesting and fun activities to get to know people with different perspectives.
