Hi all!
My name is Jonas, I am 19 years old and I will lead the Gelderland section as chairman this year. I am originally from Rijssen in Overijssel and was also treasurer with the Overijssel division last year.
These days, I live in Nijmegen in my room. After the summer, I will start the final year of my history studies at Radboud University. In my spare time, I mainly follow politics, read and like to do something with my friends.
I hope and count on an active and busy year at DWARS. We have to campaign primarily for both the Lower House elections in October and then again for the March municipal elections. In addition, we need to be busy preparing for the upcoming merger with the Young Socialists after both our parent parties merge around June/July 2026.
In short, I am hoping for a fun but also busy year that we can hopefully end with many successes!

Hi All!
I am Bram, I am 19 years old and get to be secretary of our lovely department this year. I come from Arnhem and study business administration there. I have been a member of DWARS for just over a year now and very quickly felt very welcome at this association, I hope to give new members the same feeling. Besides studying and dedicating myself to DWARS, I spend time scouting, gaming, reading, binge-watching series and listening to music.
I want to ensure that new members feel as welcome at our association as I did when I joined a year ago. Furthermore, together with the rest of the board and you, I want to ensure that this year's two election campaigns and the upcoming merger go well.

Hello all,
I'm Bert (he/it) and I get to be your treasurer this year. I joined DWARS last year and this is my way of giving something back to this great association.
I am originally from Brummen but have been living in Nijmegen for a few years now to study Physics and Astronomy. In my spare time, I keep myself busy with board games, hiking, role-playing games and a slight podcast addiction.
As treasurer, I want to help the association continue with all its activities and make sure they remain accessible to everyone. I look forward to making it another great year with all of you!

Hai all!
My name is Teuntje and this year I am a board member of promotion & membership recruitment and diversity & inclusion. I am originally from beautiful Nijmegen, but now live in Twello (which is also pretty ;)). I am in the 5th year of secondary school and love theatre, reading and music.
I think DWARS is a tremendously nice club and in the coming year I will try to inspire and activate other young people as well together with my fellow board members. I hope we can show as many young people as possible how fun and important it is to have your voice heard, and that DWARS is the perfect place for this!

Hi hi!
I'm Anne Jip, but you can call me AJ. I am 5 years old and therefore the youngest DWARS member in the Netherlands. I myself have no fixed place of residence, because I prefer to stay with all the board members of DWARS Gelderland. Because I am so soft and fluffy, my main job on the board is to be a pillow, a cuddly toy and an object to hold tightly when my dear board members are having a hard time. Wherever the board is, I am too.
