Demonstration Stop the Violence

The genocide of the Palestinian people continues. More than 40,000 Palestinians have now been killed, but estimates suggest that a figure of more than 200,000 is more realistic. Instead of stopping the spiral of violence, Israel is extending attacks into surrounding areas, such as now Lebanon, with the result that more than 1,000 people have already been killed in less than a week. This violence must stop immediately! That is why we will stand on Dam Square on Sunday 13 October at 14:00 to demand that the Dutch government does everything in its power to end the genocide in Gaza and beyond. Will you be there too?

The protest is being organised by SOMO, The Rights Forum, Amnesty International, Terre des Hommes, Oxfam Novib, Kifaia, Save the Children and PAX, among others. We will join them and jointly make ourselves heard against the ongoing and increasing genocide.

It is NOW time for an immediate and permanent ceasefire to end the violence. We also call for the release of all hostages, including the thousands of Palestinian prisoners, and demand an immediate end to arms supplies to Israel.
