Boards

In the history of our department, we have experienced many different boards. In fact, on 21 May, the fourteenth board already took office! That seems too many, but in fact, General Board members used to be elected every six months, and so a new board always took office in January as well.

All the boards have always given their love and time to keep the department running as well as possible. This usually consists of an activity every other week, and a board meeting every other week (which you can always join, by the way!).

The boards always have a lot of fun together, but even when something goes wrong you have this team to fall back on. Especially with sometimes low turnouts at activities, we still make it a fun day together!

“Once at a board meeting, one of our board members was an hour and a half late! When the board member in question finally arrived, chairman Isabel (the meeting was with her) opened the door. We as the rest of the board had been hiding on the balcony as a joke. Isabel reported that the meeting was already over and we snuck out of the house via the bathroom, only to ring the doorbell and say, “”Yes we were just leaving, but we heard you were coming.”””
