Left Dicks: Veganism

"Positive change: It's the food, my friend!"

This transition from animal to plant-based proteins is being embraced by the United Nations, Albert Heijn, Bonduelle, Hak, Jumbo, the Nutrition Centre, The Ministry of Economic Affairs and many other influential players. There is even an English football club, Forest Green Rovers (https://www.facebook.com/thefootballrepublic/videos/1485933031437367/), which has switched completely to plant-based food. Support for dhe protein transition in society is growing. The business community also sees the need for sustainability and the opportunities the protein transition brings. The protein transition seems to offer every opportunity for positive change.

So we will hear more about this topic in the future. But what exactly is going on? What does this protein transition actually entail and why all the enthusiasm around it?
