Handing over collected clothes to clothing bank Maxima

08 March 2018

Over the past few months, we have all collected kilos of clothes for the women working at the streetwalkers' district. During the collection period, several DWARS members asked us if they could also donate men's clothing. Of course we thought this was a great idea, and we soon knew a good destination for these clothes: clothing bank Maxima.

Clothing Bank Maxima is a fashion shop where only clients of the Food Bank Groningen can come and shop for free. Last Wednesday, we handed over ten hefty shopping bags full of clothes.

Thank you for helping us collect accessories, shoes, and clothes. And, of course, we will continue! Do you have any men's or women's clothes that you no longer wear yourself? Then bring it to the GroenLinks pledge at one of our following activities, so that we can donate it.
