North Groningen day
22 April 2017Saturday 22 April was the first activity of our new committee the GAC. At 10.30am, a group of 17 stalwart DWARSs left in two vans for Pieterburen. With our bellies full of coffee and apple pie, we were ready to enter the mudflats. With an incredibly fun authentic guide who knew how to tell us all the secrets of the mudflats, we spent three hours trudging through the muck. The loss of three DWARSs in the mud was also not too bad when you compare it to our fantastic growth over the past few months. Afterwards, there were tasty sandwiches ready on the premises to warm up a bit and end the day together. Thank you all very much for the fun day and we hope to see you at the next GAC activity: the summer camp!
