Hi all!
My name is Abel, for the next year I will hold the role of president with our section. Having been involved in other parts of DWARS for a while, it is now time for the next step!
Although I am actually from Brabant, I started studying Public Administration at Radboud University 2 years ago. Next year, I hope to finish that! Besides studying and DWARSe activities, I spend my time bouldering and playing some guitar where there is still time left.
In the coming year, I hope to keep the Gelderland section active together with my board with lots of fun activities! I also look forward to following the Gelderland political developments, something that (logically for a DWARS'er) is also a big hobby of mine!

Hi dear readers!
My name is Brenda and I am the secretary on the current board. I have only recently joined DWARS so I may be an unfamiliar face to most of you, which is why I am happy to introduce myself!
I am 22 years old and originally from Dinxperlo, a village right next to the German border. Nowadays, I study and live in Wageningen, where I have just completed the bachelor's degree in international development and where I am now continuing with the master's degree of the same name. My political interest arose from my studies, especially towards international issues, such as the European Union. Besides DWARS and my studies, I have a part-time job at a supermarket, but in my free time I love cooking and taking naps 🙂 .
I hope for an active year where I can get to know many of you and where we can exchange a lot of political knowledge and insights. I am looking forward to it!

Hey all,
My name is Lucas, I am 23 years old and I am your treasurer for this year. I currently live in Molenhoek, but am in the process of moving to beautiful Nijmegen. I am finishing my Business Administration studies at the HAN in Nijmegen and will start working after that. In my spare time, I like running, gaming and I like to be involved in history and politics.
I joined DWARS at the beginning of this year and immediately found it a very nice association. I wanted to do something for the association, so that's why I am now also on the board of DWARS Gelderland. I hope that with my position as treasurer I can help the association to continue with all its activities and hopefully even more.

Hi,
I am Mads (he/it), 17 years old and from Wageningen. This year I get to be board member activism, activities and member engagement. I am in the final year of secondary school at a small democratic school in Driel. After school, I am often bouldering, horse riding or busy with the Wageningen Youth Council.
As a board member in the coming year, I want to work towards a more activist Gelderland and many fun and educational activities at DWARS Gelderland. I think it is very important to make young people's voices heard well in the provinces and the municipality and am keen to work on this in the coming year.

Hi hi!
I'm Anne Jip, but you can call me AJ. I am 5 years old and therefore the youngest DWARS member in the Netherlands. I myself have no fixed place of residence, because I prefer to stay with all the board members of DWARS Gelderland. Because I am so soft and fluffy, my main job on the board is to be a pillow, a cuddly toy and an object to hold tightly when my dear board members are having a hard time. Wherever the board is, I am too.
