DWARS Rotterdam-Rijnmond

DWARS Rotterdam-Rijnmond currently consists of around 400 members and continues to grow! Besides a large group from Rotterdam, our members come from places like Schiedam, Vlaardingen, Capelle aan den IJssel and Dordrecht.

The board of our department is currently formed by:

What we do

The board of our section is elected at the AAVs. After the election, the board meets every week to constantly create activities and political expressions. Thus, together we provide a place where green, progressive and socialist youth can come together and have a political opinion!

We do organise an activity a few times a month: theme nights, debates, movie nights, walks and get-togethers.
As a department, we deal with social, green and societal issues that match our members' interests and fit the critical and inquisitive nature of DWARS. In addition, sociability is central within DWARS Rotterdam-Rijnmond. We are a close-knit club, in which openness and respect are two key words.

Rotterdam Climate Coalition

DWARS collaborates with other green organisations in the Rotterdam Climate Coalition. Among others Erasmus Change, Environmental Defence and XR are also connected.
