Vacancies: Cash committee member

Currently, the task of the KasCo of DWARS Overijssel is done by three fantastic members. Of two of them, their 1-year terms are coming to an end. Therefore, we are looking for new KasCo members!

Board positions

President

As president, you are the face of the department. You are the first point of contact among members, liaising with the local and provincial branches of GroenLinks, with the other branches of DWARS, other local PJOs, the national board. You chair board meetings. You can keep order, deal with the press and organise.

Strengths: open, reliable, political acumen, knowledge of the organisation.

Secretary

As secretary, you are the administrative heart of the department. You manage the membership database, liaise with members through the newsletter, take minutes at board meetings and department meetings and provide structure within the board. As secretary, you are responsible for member privacy and keep your fellow board members on their toes on this.

Strengths: structured, writing, keeping track, easy to make contact.

Treasurer

The department treasurer manages the money. From the national treasurer you receive the budget for the department. You make the budget, make sure expenses are kept in order and make payments on behalf of DWARS Overijssel. You keep track of everything in the accounts.

Strengths: good with money and numbers, accurate, organisational, you can say 'no'.

General board member

General board members are board members who are not president, secretary or treasurer. Your only regular job is to support the rest of the board. As a result, you have a lot of freedom in which portfolios you take: politics? Activities and Member Engagement? Promotion and Member Recruitment? Activism? Vice-chairmanship? Together with the other board members, you determine your tasks for the board year.

Strengths: enthusiastic, creative.

Vice president

You are vice-chairman in combination with one of the other positions. You support the chairman in procedures and organisation. If the chairman needs advice, you are the first point of contact. When the chairperson is ill, for example, you replace them at meetings and activities. So you have to pay attention to what the chairman does. Of course, this position cannot be combined with the chairmanship.

Strengths: keeping an overview, flexible, advisory (active and passive).
