Dear DWARSers,
Last year I was already your president and I will be again in the coming year! For those who don't know me yet, I will introduce myself.
My name is Marijn de Boer and I am 19 years old. I live in Enschede where I am currently a third-year public administration student at the University of Twente. Furthermore, in my spare time I keep myself busy with video games, reading and running. In the coming year, I will again do my best to represent DWARS Overijssel as well as possible and organise fun activities for our fantastic members. Hope to see you soon at one of our activities!

Hello all,
I am Joachim de Wild, 14 years old from Zwolle. I am in VWO 4 of the Greijdanus College in Zwolle and in my spare time I do running, reading and meeting up with friends. I am looking forward to getting involved in DWARS Overijssel this year. I want to keep members well informed about what is happening in our department, make our views heard in local politics and media and ensure a smooth merger with the JS next year. I also want to contribute to the campaigns for the Lower House and local council elections that await us this board year.

Hi all!
I'm Jonas, I'm 19 years old and I'm from Rijssen. I will be your treasurer again this year.
These days, I live in Nijmegen in my room. After the summer, I will start the final year of my history studies at Radboud University. In my spare time, I mainly follow politics, read and like to do something with my friends.
I hope and count on an active and busy year at DWARS. We have to campaign primarily for both the Lower House elections in October and then again for the March municipal elections. In addition, we need to be busy preparing for the upcoming merger with the Young Socialists after both our parent parties merge around June/July 2026.
In short, I am hoping for a fun but also busy year that we can hopefully end with many successes!
