As a board member of DWARS Groningen, you will organise interesting lectures, social gatherings and important social actions. It is the perfect way to learn about politics, have a great time and gain relevant board experience!

The board members will finally be elected by the members of DWARS Groningen at the General Branch Meeting (AAV) on 26 June. It is also possible to apply for multiple positions to increase your chances of being elected at the AAV.

President
The chairman is the face of DWARS Groningen. Both internally and externally, you are
the first point of contact.
Your main task is to ensure that the board performs its duties and can out
conduct. In addition, as chairman, you maintain an overview within the board. The chairman is
therefore an organised person. You make sure other board members do a good job
do and keep an eye on whether that happens. You can give constructive criticism
And so encourage people. As chairman, you are always working on getting extra

Organisation and members

hebben we de Frequente Activiteiten Commissie, RevoluCie, Redactie,
Kookcommisie, PolitiCie en de werkgroepen voor grote activiteiten. Voor deze
functie is het belangrijk dat je makkelijk met mensen om kan gaan omdat je veel
contact hebt met actieve leden. Daarnaast is het belangrijk dat dit bestuurslid
zelfverzekerd is bij het zoeken van nieuwe leden voor de commissies. Je hebt oog voor DWARSe kernwaarden als inclusie en diversiteit, en doet je best om er voor te zorgen dat iedereen zich welkom voelt bij DWARS.  Verder is het
belangrijk dat het bestuurslid Organisatie en Leden enthousiast is, omdat dit leden in commissies
ook enthousiast maakt. Deze functie kost ongeveer 15 uur per week.

Political Secretary
De politiek secretaris is verantwoordelijk voor de politieke zichtbaarheid van
DWARS Groningen.
Je belangrijkste taak is het organiseren van politieke acties. Dit zijn acties waarmee
je de mening van DWARS op serieuze of op ludieke wijze naar buiten draagt.
Voorbeelden hiervan zijn een persbericht schrijven of een enorme trein knutselen.
De rest van het bestuur helpt jou uiteraard, maar jij draagt de verantwoordelijkheid
voor de organisatie. Het is belangrijk dat je het (lokale) nieuws goed in de gaten
houdt. Hierbij kijk je constant hoe we als DWARS Groningen op de lokale politieke
kunnen inspelen. Ook heb je contact met andere PJO’s om samen activiteiten en acties op te zetten.
De politiek secretaris heeft een passie voor (lokale) politiek. Je bent doortastend
en niet snel af te schrikken. Je durft te shockeren.
De politiek secretaris staat uiteraard niet alleen. Je medebestuursleden helpen en
denken altijd mee. Wel ben jij eindverantwoordelijk voor de politieke
zichtbaarheid van DWARS Groningen. De functie kost ongeveer 10 uur per week.
