Past & Future of GroenLinks with Bram van Ojik

On 10 March, we will learn more about the origins of GroenLinks. We will also get a perspective on the future by none other than Bram van Oijk!

GroenLinks was formed in 1990 as a merger of four smaller left-wing parties. Now voices are again calling for a left-wing merger of GroenLinks and Labour Party to create a new, larger left-wing party.

How did the merger come about in 1990? What were the shared values, but also the differences between the CPN, PSP, EPP and PPR? What parallels can be drawn between the situation in 1990, and the situation now? And what does the future of the left look like?

We discuss it with Bram van Ojik! Bram was party chairman of the PPR at the time of the merger in 1990 and thus closely involved in the birth of GroenLinks. He was also Jesse Klaver's predecessor as party chairman of GroenLinks and is a second MP. So Bram has a unique perspective on GroenLinks's past, present and future. So would you like to learn more about the origins of GroenLinks and broaden your perspective on the future? Then come along on 10 March!
