In conversation with: Ariane van Burg, former group chairman GroenLinks Apeldoorn

12 years on the council, 6 years as group chairman, multiple coalitions. After years of being a rock of Apeldoorn politics, he stepped Ariane van Burg back from Apeldoorn politics. Successfully completed the coalition negotiations following the 2018 municipal elections, awarded a Member in the Order of Orange-Nassau, Ariane decided to transfer her knowledge to the next generation of councillors, and now also to the next generation of GroenLinksers: DWARS.

On 16 January, we will engage with Ariane in interview form. What she liked most, what she disliked most, what it is like to be distinguished; you can ask anything. Of course, we will mention successes, such as the Apeldoorn rainbow zebra crossing, and ask how things are going now (e.g. with Lelystad Airport, which she opposed with a lot of fury).
Do you have any questions for Ariane? Then email them to veluwe.gelderland@dwars.org; you may also ask them on the day itself, of course!
