DWARS, GroenLinkse Jongeren is the independent political youth organization affiliated with the Dutch Party GroenLinks (“GreenLeft”).

We are an organization by and for young people who strive for environmentalist and progressive politics: DWARS stands for climate justice, social equality and economic fairness.

DWARS Friesland regularly organizes activities such as political discussions or social activities. Besides, we join protests for the causes strived for by DWARS.

As DWARS is affiliated with a Dutch political party and focuses on Dutch politics, our main target audience is youth in the Netherlands. Therefore, our activities are usually in Dutch. Nevertheless, non-Dutch speakers are always welcome to join our activities. Especially at social activities, plenty of people would be happy to converse in English.
