26 mei 2023Nu de zon weer volop schijnt, beseffen we dat ons bestuursjaar helaas bijna ten einde loopt, en dit een van onze laatste nieuwsbrieven zal zijn. Maar geen zorgen, we hebben nog een boordevolle agenda met geweldige activiteiten in het verschiet. Neem dus zeker de tijd om deze nieuwsbrief door te nemen en hopelijk zien we je bij deze activiteiten!

Now that the sun is shining brightly again, we realize that our board year is unfortunately coming to a close, and this will be one of our last newsletters. Op 27 juni vindt de DWARS Fryslan Zomer-AAV (Algemene Afdelingsvergadering) alweer plaats. Op deze AAV verkiezen wij een nieuw bestuur. Je kan solliciteren door middel van een mailtje te sturen naar friesland@dwars.org. Daarbij kan je ons ook vragen stellen over wat de functies precies inhouden via de mail, of via whatsapp. Je mag je ook kandideren op de AAV zelf!
Daarnaast bespreken we de stand van zaken van de afdeling en zal het aftredend bestuur hun verantwoording afleggen.
Ongeveer twee weken voor de AAV zullen wij de agenda en de vergaderstukken publiceren op dwars.org/friesland .
Als je nog vragen hebt kun je deze gerust stellen aan iemand van het bestuur!
On June 27, the DWARS Fryslan Summer Department Meeting (DP/ AAV – Algemene Afdelingsvergadering) will take place again. At this DP, we will elect a new board. You can apply by sending an email to friesland@dwars.org. Additionally, you can ask us questions about what the positions entail via email or WhatsApp. You can also apply for a position at the AAV itself!
Furthermore, we will discuss the state of affairs of the department, and the outgoing board will be explaining what they have been doing this year. You can ask questions to the board before and during the AAV.
About two weeks before the DP, we will publish the agenda and the meeting documents on www.dwars.org/friesland.

Tijdens deze excursie zal Daimy Jansen, onze secretaris, jullie meenemen in het fascinerende leven van vlinders en libellen. Daarnaast zal ze ons meer vertellen over het bos zelf en alles wat er kruipt en vliegt. Het belooft een leerzame en inspirerende middag te worden! ✨
Natuurlijk zorgen wij ook voor een heerlijke picknick, waar jullie kunnen genieten van smakelijke vegan snacks. 🌱🥪

On June 2nd, we would like to invite you to a special excursion in the beautiful Leeuwarden Forest! 🌳🌼

📍 Location: Havanklaan Parking Lot, Leeuwarden Forest
During this excursion, Daimy Jansen, our secretary, will guide you through the fascinating life of butterflies and dragonflies. She will also tell us more about the forest itself and everything that crawls and flies within it. It promises to be an educational and inspiring afternoon! ✨
Of course, we will also provide a delicious picnic where you can enjoy tasty vegan snacks. 🌱🥪

Nu dat het einde van het bestuursjaar nadert zoekt DWARS Fryslan een bestuur! De vacatures van alle posities staan open dus voor voorzitter, vice voorzitter, secretaris, penningmeester en algemeenbestuurslid. Naast alle verantwoordelijkheden mag je als bestuur zelf invullen wat voor leuke en interessante activiteiten je wilt doen in DWARS. Zo kun je denken aan borrels, sprekersavonden, workshops, filmavonden en nog veel meer! Dus heb jij interesse in een van deze posities neem dan contact met ons op.

As the end of the board year approaches, DWARS Fryslân is looking for a new board! In addition to the responsibilities, as a board member, you have the freedom to organize fun and interesting activities within DWARS. This can include social gatherings, guest speaker evenings, workshops, movie nights, and much more! If you are interested in any of these positions, please contact us.
If you don’t speak or understand Dutch well, you can still join the board!
DWARS Fryslân welcomes individuals who may not speak or understand Dutch fluently to join the board. We believe in inclusivity and value diverse perspectives.
