No green light DWARS for right-wing policy

22 March 2017

It is the big question in the media this week: "Will GroenLinks join the government for the first time?". But if it is up to DWARS, the party is not immediately eager to help the right gain a majority. In the BNR radio broadcast president Noortje Blokhuis indicated that concrete steps on sustainability, humane refugee policy and reducing income disparities must be taken to consider cabinet participation. In de Volkskrant the AD those conditions are highlighted again. We are particularly concerned about the Turkey deal and income inequality. "CDA and VVD are absolutely not in favour of levelling measures, GroenLinks is. That might be the most exciting," Noortje indicates in the AD.
