Dear DWARS'ers,

Looking to the future, we dedicate ourselves every day to making the world a more beautiful place. And we have been doing this as a department for almost a decade! Instead, in 2024, we look back to the past and celebrate the 10th anniversary Of our wonderful department, an anniversary! đŸĨŗ

Message from the Lustrum Committee:

Happy anniversary year! In 2024, our department will already be ten years old! To celebrate this, we as a lustrum committee have some incredibly fun plans for this year, which we would like to share with you in advance. We are going to organise four super cool activities. Put these in your diaries and share them with your DWARSe friends:

  • 💡14 March (click here) | We kick off with a fun pub quiz (with new-member intro) on the history of our section, DWARS and GroenLinks, with only winners!
  • 🌊May 4 (click here) | An instructive and active afternoon on the sea and beach, where we will first learn from an interesting speaker about the marine environment and how we can protect it, and for those who can and want to, we will also go out and clean up the beach ourselves.
  • đŸĒģ21 June (click here) | A festive midsummer festival! With music, atmosphere and goodies
  • 💃đŸģ2 November (click here) | We will end the year with a gala! At the gala full of fun, we will look back on ten wonderful years of DWARS Leiden-Haaglanden, with also a moment for charity
