Care is a fragile and precious part of society. It takes time to build a good welfare state, but it can go fast when the government makes the wrong choices. By introducing market forces into care, more and more people are getting less and less care. This can and must change. That is why DWARS wants to ban market forces from healthcare as soon and as well as possible. There should also be more focus on prevention, for instance by ensuring that the physiotherapist and dietician are covered in the basic package. In addition, the healthcare system should be different; menstrual products, for instance, should be free.
