What is the Advisory Council (CoA)?
As a member of the Advisory Board (BoA), you will provide the national board of DWARS with solicited and unsolicited advice, thus contributing to the improvement of the association. To this end, you will meet on average once every three weeks with the other members of the BoA and keep an eye on what the board is working on. You have regular contact with board members and you can take a critical look at the decisions the board takes or is going to take. You think along with board members, observe the atmosphere within the board and support board members in achieving their goals. In addition, the board sends the BoA a budget, policy plan and, after the end of the financial year, an annual report and accounts. Where possible, you give advice on how plans can be handled better or why a decision needs to be better substantiated.
Some of the BoA members are elected at the winter congress and others at the summer congress. Next summer congress, up to four members for the Advisory Council will be elected for the one-year term.
