Results Member consultation on left-wing cooperation DWARS

23 May 2023

The results of the member consultation on left-wing cooperation are here. In the two weeks before, every member could cast their vote via email on 21 questions and statements about left-wing cooperation (mainly the cooperation between GroenLinks and the Labour Party). This has sharpened the picture we got at last year's member consultation, and allows us to make clear to GroenLinks what DWARS is and is not in favour of.

DWARS uses member consultation to shape the national board's attitude towards GroenLinks. DWARS can also use it to advise on member referendums and motions at GroenLinks, to properly represent the views of DWARSers. We hope the next board can use this well from the start.

A total of 5,320 members were eligible to vote. These were all people who were members two weeks before voting started. A total of 635 members voted. That is 11.94% per cent of the members who were allowed to vote. For each question, it was possible to choose the option "abstain, I don't want to vote on this". Therefore, the real number of votes for each question is a bit lower.

Below are the results of the 21 questions and statements. They are in the same order as in the member consultation, but the headings by topic have been added to the results only.
