Iris at BNR: Women hit harder by climate change than men

22 November 2022

Meanwhile, our president, Iris, has become a regular on BNR breaks, a radio programme discussing the news of the day.

Last Thursday morning, 17 November, she was a guest again. Besides discussing current news, she brought a news topic of her own, namely: women are hit harder by climate change than men. Indeed, at this year's COP-27, there was a 'gender day', discussing how non-men are hit harder by climate change than men. However, those who have a say in solving the climate problem are mostly men. It is therefore time for women to have more of a say in this, she explained.

Curious what else Iris had to say here, and on other topics? You can here listen back!
