'French, show your inner street fighter!' Rick in the media

Frans Timmermans calls himself a street fighter with some regularity. At DWARS, we would like to see him take on that role a bit more often. As leader of the opposition, it is his job to be a tough opposition fighter in the coming period. Our call is therefore: free your inner street fighter, Frans! Contrast a radically different image with the far-right politics of Wilders, and do not extend a single hand to the parties that put their names under the coalition agreement.

Rick proclaimed that message on Monday evening in the political café radio programme 'Dit is de Dag', where Frans Timmermans and Bas Eickhout were guests to answer questions from the audience. 'In the debate on the coalition agreement, you started brightly, but then that softened somewhat. Jonah on the joint European list

On Monday, Rick was not alone in the political café. Our political advisor international Jona Berkers also joined in and asked Bas Eickhout a question about the joint European list: 'Isn't it better to be in a joint group if you really want to make a fist against the extreme right?
