DWARS Launches Rainbow jersey (Support Transvision)

As many of you obviously already realised, our post yesterday is a 1 April joke. DWARS will not be selling any corporate identity merchandise, nor will it be redefining the corporate identity in its communications. We do, however, have a cool new jersey to launch after all. DWARS presents: the rainbow jersey.

With this new DWARS rainbow jersey, you are both fashion conscious, and aware of the rights of people in the LGBTQIA+ community.

For every jersey sold, DWARS will donate €4 to Transvision. Transvision is an organisation for and by transgender people, working for the rights of transgender people. They do this through advocacy, information and education, among other things. They also organise mutual contact between transgender people, creating space to support and help each other. For example, this organisation facilitates meetings where trans people and their family and friends can go with their questions about gender identity. Do you think this is such a cool organisation too? If so, you can choose to €5 extra to be donated to Transvision. The jersey will then replace €20, €25 costs. DWARS makes no profit on the sale of its merchandise. Therefore, the costs consist only of the purchase/printing costs and the donation.

Due to COVID-19, we are currently not working at DWARS's office premises. Therefore, one of our board members will ship the jerseys from home. Ordering this jersey now works as follows:

For the next seven days, the jersey is in the webshop on sale as pre-order. That means you order the jersey, without it being in stock yet. We will start placing the order with our printer after these 7 days and send the jerseys to the board member. She will then send them to everyone by post. So you can also enjoy this comfortable jumper during this time. You can also choose to collect the jumper at the office premises. However, this will only be possible once the board members can work on the premises again. It is not yet clear when this will be.
