The Campaign Committee helps organise the campaigns. The committee supports the Activism & Campaign board member. They help in the design and elaborate of campaigns, both for elections and substantive campaigns

European elections 2024

For the June 2024 European elections, DWARS organised a campaign for two DWARSe candidates: Catarina Vieira and Kenville Kleinmoedig. Two young candidates with a clear DWARS sound.

Under the motto 'it's your future, don't leave it at that and speak up', we ran a campaign focused on our young candidates. The campaign committee together with the board organised the campaign kick-off and helped with the videos featuring different candidates for on our social media channels.

As a success on the campaign, one of the DWARSe candidates, Catarina, was elected through preferential votes. Kenville also achieved good results including in Rotterdam and the Caribbean islands.

House of Representatives elections 2023

Your future is not a game! This was the slogan of DWARS and the Young Socialists' campaign for the 2023 parliamentary elections.

It is not always easy being young in the Netherlands. From climate to housing crisis: our future picture is not exactly rosy if nothing changes. What is needed is a politics that dares to make choices and does not run away from responsibility. A politics that takes the future of young people seriously. Because our future is not a game! That is why DWARS and the Young Socialists worked together this election. As youth organisations of GroenLinks and PvdA, we are fighting for a good foundation as well as major changes.

The campaign committee supported the board in various matters: writing texts for the website, making fun videos for social media, and organising the campaign kick-off and campaign actions.
