The protection of our freedoms, rule of law and democracy is often claimed by right-wing parties. Wrongly so, because a free democratic society is certainly not necessarily a right-wing one. The Law & Democracy Committee works on the DWARSe story around issues related to this theme.

The Law & Democracy Committee is engaged in discussing topical issues, organising theme evenings and writing (opinion) pieces. During the meetings, there is always room for debate and subsequent discussion. Speakers are also regularly invited.

What are we currently working on?

Currently, we would like to work on the ins and outs of the European Union, human rights, police brutality and freedom of expression. In doing so, we would like to start looking at changes to laws in the international field.
