Our buddy system / Find a buddy

We have revamped our Buddy policy. New members can indicate when registering for an activity whether they would like a Buddy at that activity. A buddy is someone who has been a member of DWARS Utrecht for some time. The buddy contacts you before the activity and can answer all your questions. This way, when you come to an activity, you always have someone to chat with and who can introduce you to others.

Would you like to talk to an experienced DWARSer before signing up for an activity? Then send an email to secretaris.utrecht@dwars.org with your email and/or phone number and we will pair you with someone to email, app, or signal with.

We renewed our Buddy system. New members can sign-up to be coupled to a Buddy when registering for an activity. This Buddy will guide the new member during this activity. A Buddy is someone that is member of DWARS Utrecht for a longer time already. This buddy can contact you beforehand and answer your questions. With a Buddy you will immediately have someone to talk to and who can introduce you to others during the activity.
