About us

DWARS Utrecht is the local branch of DWARS, GroenLinkse Youth and has existed since 2010. The department has a growing group of enthusiastic members. DWARS Utrecht organises various activities for all members and interested parties in the province of Utrecht. These activities range from political content to purely for fun.

Political activities might include a visit to the town hall, theme nights, playful actions and, of course, original campaign activities during election time. Examples of purely fun activities include a vegan barbecue, roller disco skating and a members' reception.

You may already know the ideals of DWARS. If not, you can find them at length on the national website. At DWARS Utrecht, we regularly discuss topics related to these ideals and delve into local issues. We usually combine these discussions with drinks, so there is never a lack of sociability. DWARS is a very open organisation where everyone is welcome, and this also applies to DWARS Utrecht: you are always welcome to join us.

In the calendar you can find upcoming activities, which you can of course come to anytime. You can follow us via Instagram. Furthermore, we have communicated a lot through appgroups. Would you like to help think up and organise activities yourself? Then let us know via utrecht@dwars.org!

The department has a growing group of enthusiastic members. DWARS Utrecht organises various activities for all members and interested parties in the province of Utrecht. These activities vary from political to social.

Political activities include visits to the town hall, theme nights, playful actions and, of course, original campaign activities during election time. Examples of purely sociable activities are a vegan barbecue, roller skating in a roller disco and a members’ drink.
