🌿 Vacancy: Board members wanted for DWARS Rotterdam-Rijnmond!

At the upcoming General Branch Meeting (AAV), DWARS Rotterdam-Rijnmond will elect a new board for 2025-2026. Would you like to help build an active, left-wing and green youth movement in the region? Then apply for a board position!

We are looking for members for the following positions:

👑 President

As chairman, you are the face of the department. You lead board meetings, represent the department at DWARS nationwide and GroenLinks, and ensure that the board works well together.
Requested: leadership, overview, enthusiasm, assertiveness and communication skills.

🗃️ Secretary

As secretary, you will keep records, manage the mailbox, write minutes and ensure that members stay well informed. You are the organisational talent of the board.
Requested: structure, overview, discretion, confidentiality and writing skills.

💸 Treasurer

As treasurer, you manage the department's finances. You make budgets, keep track of what is spent and make sure everything is correct for the treasury committee.
Requested: Basic sense of numbers, responsibility and accuracy.

🧩 General Board member

As a general board member, you can define your own role through one or more portfolios. You work together with other board members on campaigns, events or communication. Ideal if you want to make an impact in a way that suits you!

  • 🎉 Activities & Member loyalty - Provide cool meetings, get-togethers, debates and a close-knit department.

  • ✊ Campaigning & Activism - Organise actions, take to the streets and make an impact in the region.

  • 🤝 Inclusion & collaborations - Build bridges with other organisations.

  • 📚 Training & Development - Reinforce our knowledge and content.
