Protest march International Day Against Violence Against Women

45% of all women experienced physical or sexual violence at some point in their lives
Nearly three quarters (73%) have ever been sexually harassed
An op ten women have been raped at some point in their lives

This, combined with domestic violence, stalking, and cyber violence, is the reality of women in the Netherlands, partly because they are doomed to a (financially) disadvantaged position in this system.
We do not accept this. We turn our frustration into concerted struggle and make a fist.

We Strike Back!

To mark the international day against violence against women (25-11), we will march through Rotterdam on Sunday 28 November. We will gather at 13.30 at Schouwburgplein. After a few speeches, we will make ourselves heard in the city and finally conclude at the V.O.C. square.

Come too, and strengthen our call for a society where everyone is safe and equal.

Soon we will present concrete demands, because the fight for equality requires more than fine words - we demand action and structural change!
