New board DWARS GroenLinkse Youth Overijssel

On 8 September 2019, the members of DWARS Overijssel elected the members of the DWARS Overijssel board 2019-2020 at the Hip in Deventer.

The new board will consist of:

Chairman: Quinten Kwadijk

Vice-chairman: Jarno van Straaten

Secretary: Hannah Emmens

Treasurer: Rick Wolters

Political Secretary: Jarno van Straaten

General Board members: Kevin Becking, Sal Waterman, Jarno van Straaten and Lykle Maatje

The board plans to focus the upcoming board year on attracting new members to the organisation and organising challenging and informative events for members and non-members.

The political line will also receive more attention now that there are no elections next year.

The election of the new board brings an end to the board-Matthijs Brinkhuis I, which consisted of:

Chairman: Matthijs Brinkhuis

Treasurer and vice-chairman: Thomas de Jong

Secretary: Paula Geurtzen

Campaign manager: Laura van de Beek

The board-Matthijs Brinkhuis I will still sit until the handover after which it will hand over the department to board-Kwadijk I.
