Campaign update #3: One week before the election!
10 March 2021Writer: Margo Mustert
The time to discuss voting. The chance to talk about politics with anyone we meet in our daily lives. People are more or less into it now anyway, and if they are not, we are happy to be there to remind them.
Read some points of GroenLinks's election manifesto so that you are prepared. I guarantee you will get excited while reading!
It is very important to vote because, well... otherwise your vote is simply going to be divided. Mainly the VVD benefits from this at the moment. So then your vote goes largely to inequality!
Flyer
This weekend, we will be flyering with DWARS! Be sure to sign up to walk with us. You can easily distribute 200 to 300 flyers per hour! Your impact will be huge.
Follow us on Instagram & share our posts
We have a number of videos and posts coming up. It is important that we reach more people than just our DWARSe supporters. This works best through your social media. Hopefully, you can also inspire people to vote green again!
Social media challenge
DWARS Nationwide asked 3 questions challenging each member to create something beautiful, you can still participate in this until the 14e! Write or create something around the question “What does climate justice mean to you?”. Share this on your social media to increase your impact, and win our gift pack!
Pavement chalking for your life!
During election days, we will go to various locations in the city green slogans pavement chalking! Own input = fun.
Meanwhile, we have 2 political cafes behind us. We got a huge amount of inspiration from these! Thank you to all participants.
Can and do you want to participate in some way? Send an email to campagne.amsterdam@dwars.org or contact someone you know from the departmental board.
Thank you all for your efforts!
Struggling greetings,
The Campaign Committee
