Campaign update #1: Campaign committee update

Dear DWARSers,

On behalf of our Campaign Committee, I give you an update on what we are working on so far.

DWARS Amsterdam will of course be campaigning for GroenLinks, because on 17 March 2021 the Lower House elections will already be held. We think it is important that as many young people as possible make their voices heard!

A few weeks ago, campaign committee chair Margo and a group of other DWARSers started sifting through GroenLinks's election manifesto. We are deeply impressed by GroenLinks's plans this year! We picked out the most important themes for DWARS and summarised them. Campaign committee member Koen has posted on the DWARS Amsterdam website ten key positions from the election manifesto put, so be sure to take a look!

We also want to organise some activities for you. For instance, we are in the process of organising a panel discussion in collaboration with GroenLinks Amsterdam. More info on this will be coming soon, but be prepared for an interesting conversation with candidate MPs.

In the coming time, you can expect content about the campaign on our socials. We will also be giving you assignments via WhatsApp so you can tell your friends and family why they should definitely vote for GroenLinks this year!

We can always use new members. So do you think this is important too? Then get involved! You are always welcome to pass on ideas or join a meeting!
