Are you enjoying yourself at DWARS and would you like to do more for department Limburg?

Then apply now for the position of president! As a board member, you will deal with local politics, make sure our section in Limburg runs smoothly and organise many fun activities. 

What does a chairman do?
As chairman, you want to ensure that board members stick to their tasks and offer support where needed. You also ensure that cooperation runs smoothly, for example by chairing meetings properly. It is also important to do a lot of networking, internally, with other departments and the national board. But also externally, such as with the local GroenLinks chapter. Moreover, a chairman ensures that there is a safe place for every member or interested party within DWARS, that members move on in positions and know their way around DWARS (nationwide) and possibly GroenLinks.

We are looking for an engaged member of DWARS who would like to work on spreading green and social values in the province and strengthen the role of young people in it. We are also looking for a person who finds himself in the green, social and liberal politics that DWARS stands for. Someone who likes to see that every person is allowed and able to be themselves and wants work to be done on growing inequality and the climate crisis.

The amount of experience you have doesn't matter, as there will be more and less experienced people joining you on the board who can guide you. We believe that you learn by doing and, if you encounter problems, contact your board members. This way, you can also build an open and sociable board together!
