DWARS Limburg believes that diversity contributes to a stronger board and thus a stronger association. We therefore invite everyone of all genders, ethnic backgrounds, work and education types, orientations and beliefs to apply for a position on the board.

Are you enjoying yourself at DWARS Limburg and would you like to do more for our department? Then apply now for one of the board positions! As a board member, you will be involved in local politics, ensure that our section in Limburg runs smoothly and organise many fun activities.

Board positions

President
As president of DWARS Limburg, you are the face of the department. You are responsible for everything that happens within our section. You also keep in touch with the local GroenLinks branches, the national board of DWARS, other political youth organisations and the media.

Furthermore, you chair the board meetings, think about what is important and what needs to be done within the department. Therefore, it is important that you are enthusiastic about DWARS, interested in politics and enjoy organising things.

Secretary
As secretary, your main tasks are the communication and promotion of DWARS Limburg. You will make sure new members are welcomed, create the newsletter, manage the social media channels and the website.

You also take minutes during board meetings and manage the email account. You keep the membership list up to date and make sure all these members are informed about activities and important issues going on in the department. You are good at organising things and enjoy involving yourself in communication and social media.

Treasurer & Activities Coordinator
As treasurer, you are responsible for the department's financial situation. You will prepare the annual budget, manage the (new) bank account and ensure that there are sufficient funds to organise activities and launch new campaigns. You will also liaise with the treasurers of local GroenLinks departments and the treasurer of the national board of DWARS.

As activities coordinator, it is your job to organise all logistical and practical matters concerning activities. For example, you sometimes arrange locations, manage the budget for activities and help think about which activities DWARS can organise. You enjoy being precise and organising activities for DWARS.

General Board member
As a general board member, you can fill your post as you wish. For instance, you can be international secretary, political secretary, or just social media manager or campaign manager. So in this post, you can find your own way and definitely use your creativity.
You enjoy getting involved for DWARS. Together with the board, you can shape your function.
