A new spring and a new sound. It's May already!

• 4 May- DWARS by sea! A beach afternoon as part of our lustrum, where we will also do some beach cleaning (sign-ups here)
• Retrieved from 11 May perhaps the department's finest tradition: the ducking! We head to Zoetermeer to welcome a new friend to the ward. (Here you can sign up)
• Last but not least: Our summer AAV is on 21 May! Link
• Furthermore, also put 21 June and 2 November in your diary, for the other two lustrum activities.

No worries about whether you have enough experience: we are open to everyone, all you really need is enthusiasm and a heart for the left 🙂 ...

• Reading tip
  Tom van der Meer has written a super interesting book on how the political middle seems to be disappearing more and more in politics, being replaced by a battle between technocracy and populism. See also this interview with him in the volkskrant.
• Viewing tip
  For a while now, I've been watching videos from the YouTube channel “Wisecrack“. Left-wing pop philosophy, is very nice.
• Cooking tip
  I recently discovered the easiest vegan chocolate mousse ever: +/- 300g of silk tofu (on sale at most asian shops). Purée in a blender or hand blender or something until slightly fluffy and very smooth. Mix something like 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar to taste with it. Mix in about 100-150g of melted dark chocolate. Taste, adding chocolate and sugar if you are still missing something. Let it cool for a while in the fridge and you're done!
