Open board meeting

As some of you may know and many of you probably don't, our president Anke is going on a trip to the United States for 6 weeks. She leaves on 24 April and will be back before the AAV on 13 June. To assist the other board members in their work, Jeroen Hut, former secretary, has agreed to take on some tasks as an interim board member. Our current secretary Lieke was elected vice-chairman at the AAV in December, so she will carry out steering tasks within the board and have final responsibility within DWARS Groningen. Jeroen will mainly deal with maintaining contacts with DWARS nationwide, the GPJK and various GroenLinks bodies. As Jeroen will be appointed as an interim board member, he does not need to be elected by an AAV. However, we do want to give anyone with questions or comments on this course of action the opportunity to share them with us. We are therefore organising an open meeting next Wednesday, 18 April, at 9:00am on the premises. We realise that not all interested parties may be able to attend at that time. Questions and comments can also be shared by email or phone and the minutes of this meeting can of course be requested from Lieke.
