For those who need a refresher on Jacques Wallage:
Our guest is one of the most influential social democrats of the last half century. He knows Groningen and national politics like no other from his former positions as councillor, alderman, member of parliament, state secretary, group leader in the Lower House, minister and mayor. Wallage helped negotiate the Kok II cabinet in 1998 and was informateur during the unsuccessful negotiations for a pair-plus cabinet in 2010, with VVD, PvdA, D66 and GroenLinks.
