On 1 January 2019, the current municipalities of Groningen, Haren and Ten Boer will cease to exist, creating the new municipality of Groningen. Municipal elections for that new municipality will be held on 21 November 2018. To take part in the elections in that new municipality, all parties have to go through the entire registration process again. So there is work to do!
Retrieved from Monday morning, 1 October, at 11am, we will take as many people as possible (member or non-member) to the municipal office to make a declaration of support at the same time. This means that as an individual citizen, you declare that you support our list of candidates and thus enable GroenLinks's participation in the elections. At least 30 people have to do this. So be sure to bring all your eligible friends, family and housemates. We will make it a nice party!
For this, you need to:
-To be a resident of the current municipality of Groningen, Haren or Ten Boer
-Bring an identity document that is valid at least until 8 October 2018.
