The ocean has existed for billions of years and is essential for our life on earth. Yet the quality of life in the oceans is deteriorating rapidly due to overfishing. Is the ocean still salvageable or has the clock already struck 12?
On 11 October, the GWS committee is organising a documentary evening with this time “End Of The Line”, a 2009 documentary focusing on life in the ocean. The evening will conclude with a discussion around overfishing. The documentary starts at 8.30pm and you can find the DWARS premises at Coehoornsingel 87. Of course, non-DWARSers are also welcome! See you then!
