DWARS Groningen x CDJA Groningen: the identity of the Netherlands

On 27 May, we will engage with the CDJA! On certain positions, the CDA is far removed from GroenLinks, for example when it comes to whether or not it wants to protect and promote Dutch national identity. On Thursday evening 27 May, we will join CDJA Groningen in a conversation about national and international identity. To what extent does ”the Dutchman” exist and are there norms and values that make the Netherlands, the Netherlands? Or in the big picture, are we actually mostly European or world citizens?

These are the kinds of questions we would like to discuss digitally! Bart van Horck, adviser on European Affairs at the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations and also an external PhD student at the Institute of Political Science at Leiden University, will lead the conversation.
