Crash Course in Political Ideology with Dr Titus Stahl

Around elections, a lot of “isms” come along, in discussions and in the media. Many political parties adhere to a certain ideology. But what do these words actually mean? What exactly are the arguments, on which parties base their ideals?

On 13 January, Dr Titus Stahl, Professor of Political Philosophy at the University of Groningen, will present a crash course giving political ideologies.

Among other things, we are going to talk about what exactly capitalism is and why some are fans of it and others fiercely opposed to it; about what being “left” really means and about how the policies of contemporary parties are shaped by all these theories. All in a way that everyone can understand!
