After the news from the US, we could use some distraction yesterday. So we attended a presentation on food waste provided by the Nature and Environment Federation Groningen. Although a lot of good food is still being thrown away by supermarkets, we are cautiously optimistic. In Groningen, in fact, the food bank collects a lot of food and distributes it to poor families.
