Autumn project: sustainable student housing

At the last ALV, it was decided that DWARS Groningen will spend the next six months campaigning for more sustainable student housing in Groningen.
Think for yourself how sustainable your student accommodation is. There is probably quite a bit of room for improvement. Are there things you could do yourself to make your home more sustainable or does a landlord play a bigger role in this? A working group within DWARS will take actions aimed at raising awareness among homeowners but also at disseminating useful sustainable tips for students.
After all, small actions such as fitting draught strips and showering within a sandbox time will get you a long way!
