Local politics: are you thinking?

On Tuesday 26 September, DWARS Arnhem-Nijmegen is organising an evening on the ins and outs of local politics in collaboration with GroenLinks Lingewaard. We will start the evening with a talk by Inge Sloot, group follower of GroenLinks Lingewaard, on the organisation of local politics. See and hear for yourself how a support group meets and what topics are discussed. Learn what the importance of local politics really is and therefore how it differs from national politics!

We will then continue with an interactive conversation between DWARS'ers and the group of GroenLinks Lingewaard. They want to hear from us on how to engage young people in politics. What are important issues for us? How can we work together in the run-up to the 2018 municipal elections and make the campaign a success together?

Would you like to learn more about doing local politics and get to know our neighbouring municipality of Lingewaard? Then come to this evening! The evening starts at 20.00 and takes place at the beautiful Kinkelenburg Castle in Bemmel. The location alone is worth it ;).
